I don't necessarily have trouble sleeping all the time, but at times I do. Whereas just the tea and essential oils is something I need to start roughly 2 hours before I go to bed.
Overall, I think this is a pretty good system. Like I said, it's not for everyone. Some may find this system alone beneficial while others may want to use this along with other techniques.
