My 4-year-old son, Jace, became beyond excited from the moment he saw his brand new John Deere toy tractor and wagon. As soon as I was able to get the toy unpackaged and snap a couple of photos he was begging to go play outside in our backyard with it. When I say he played back there in some dirt for a while, I mean he put in a good hard play with his new toy.
The tractor itself was surprisingly very well made. Toys these days just aren't made like they used to be (boy do I feel old saying that). So I was honestly expecting a cute, but super cheaply made plastic toy. Nope. Not the case! While yes, this is made out of plastic, the fact of the matter is that it is made of sturdy and durable plastic. The tires roll with ease and are made of, what feels like, a thicker, more durable sort of rubber.
The wagon is easy for my son to hook up and unhook from the tractor. The fact that the tractor maneuvred in various ways makes it even more exciting to play with as well. The front scooper piece goes up and down and even tilts around!
As I said, the John Deere toy tractor was a wonderful surprise for my son and he absolutely loved playing with it (and still does). It's become a new favorite toy of his. Needless to say, this family highly recommends this for any tractor fans, John Deere fans, or anyone who likes to have fun in the dirt!
