I enjoy eating popcorn when I`m watching a good movie. Of course sometimes our typical microwavable butter popcorn gets a bit old or we`re just too lazy to want to get up to fix some. That`s when yummy gourmet popcorn comes into handy since it`s already been made, which means less work for us!

Hammond`s Candies was kind enough to send me 3 of their newest popcorn flavors to try out. I received a chocolate flavor, cinnamon flavor, and a cheese flavor popcorn. Now generally, I actually prefer the old fashioned microwave popcorn so you may take my review a bit differently. You see, normally I eat microwavable popcorn when watching a movie, whereas the gourmet popcorn I eat just to snack on as if it were candy. So the tastes have a slight bit different meaning to me.

With all that being said, I tried out a bit of each popcorn. My favorite was the cinnamon. Why? Because that one is completely unique to others I have tasted. It kind of reminds me of red hots mixed with popcorn in a way. I guess that`s the best I can describe it. The chocolate was okay to me and the cheese tasted like your typical cheese popcorn. I`ve had both chocolate and cheese popcorn before which is why these weren`t quite as impressing as the cinnamon. Either way, they all tasted good and were fresh. They had just enough of the extra flavor added as to not overload it with chocolate or cinnamon, etc. Also, the coating on there was not hard like a rock, which is a good thing. I seriously dislike when I get popcorn with flavors that make me think I`m eating a confused piece of popcorn candy or something!

So my overall experience was pretty good. My snacks were quickly shipped and arrived well packaged. I like that the popcorn comes in re-seal-able bags so I don`t have to find a container or another storage place for it once the bag has been opened. I know all my fellow mommies and parents can appreciate that. The food was fresh, far from expiration date and tasted great in each unique way. Although I did have my favorite, they were all good! The customer service was friendly as well, again, another important factor to have in a business. I am quite happy with my experience with them and I think you would enjoy their service as well. Plus, they have tons of other treats and sweats you can choose from if popcorn just isn`t your thing!
