I live in the South so we don't get much of a winter, but when we do it's generally a cold, damp, wet sort of winter. With the way our weather has been changing lately, everyone seems to be going through cough syrup like crazy! I mean, we did have 80-degree weather up until Christmas Eve when our temperatures dropped to in the 50s and that's where we are at now. In fact, I was ready to work on this review when I came down with that yucky coughing mess right after I did my unboxing video (see below).  So needless to say, I am ready for the weather to pick a temperature and stick with it or at least ease it's way up and down instead of being so drastic! With that said, I am happy with the cold temperatures because it allowed me to discover the oh so awesome Heat Holder products! What the heck are heat holders? Basically, it's a brand of thermal type accessories to help keep you warm. Here's a snippet of their story:

The Heat Holders Story

No one likes cold feet. But until 2008, most ‘thermal’ socks you could buy were pretty much useless. And that’s where our mission began…Our inventor, David Doughty, spent his working life making and selling socks. Laid off from his factory job in the late 70s, he bought a machine with his severance check and began making socks in his garage. By the 80s, he’d built up a thriving business that employed over 200 people. Things got tougher in the 90s. Imports flooded the market, forcing David to switch from manufacturing to importing. Socks got cheaper, but they got thinner and lighter too – and people’s feet got colder.

So what do I think? I think my unboxing video says it all. I have been wearing my thermal socks ever since I received my box in and O-M-G! They are super soft. I even had a chance to wash them in my washing machine and tossed them in the dryer. They are still just as thick, soft, and warm as when I first put them on from straight out the box. I gave a pair to my husband (more like he stole a pair) and he absolutely LOVES how soft and warm they are. The same with my Father-in-law. Yes, they are thick so if you have tight-fitting shoes they will not work well to wear with them, however, they felt amazing in my fuzz-lined boots! Plus, my feet don't feel sweaty and nasty from wearing them all day!

I also enjoyed wearing the thermal hat when out and about for Christmas. It has a nice comfortable fit and kept my head, as well as my ears, warm without making me feel overheated. The same goes with the gloves, however, I haven't had the need to wear them quite as much. From what I can tell from giving the sock a good run, though, the products are made very well and seem like they will last a good while - even with continuous use. Ultimately, these are HIGHLY recommended - especially if you're looking to stay warm with all this cold weather!
