Have you read the story "Guess How Much I Love You,"  by Sam McBratney and Anita Jeram? It’s the story of Little Nutbrown Hare who tries to show Big Nutbrown Hare just how much he loves him. It's an adorable story that touches up the love a child has for a parent, and vice versa. While I barely remember the book, I remember it used to be one of my favorites growing up and my almost 7 year old loved it (and still does) as well. Did you know that there is a TV series based on the book? And more exciting - some episodes just came out on DVD this week! Just recently, on January 6th, Guess How Much I Love You, the timeless and beloved picture book, came to life on DVD in the U.S. and Canada. In the new release, titled Guess How Much I Love You - Someone Special, Little Nutbrown Hare and his father Big Nutbrown Hare remind us that there is no greater love than that between a parent and child. The DVD includes 7 heartwarming episodes that we're certain you and your little Hare will enjoy over and over again!  

 

I was given the opportunity to review the DVD as well as give one away to one you awesome people. The DVD contains 7 episodes that are just 11 minutes long each.   

 

You can watch them all at once, or if your kid is anything like mine, you can choose a favorite episode to watch over and over and over again.  It's super adorable - at least I think so. The illustrations are just as cute in the movie as they are in the book. Ther`es some children`s movies that I can`t stand watching, but this one does not fall into that category. I found this one to be entertaining. Maybe it`s just the "cuteness" of it though, either way it kept my attention. It's a sweet collection of seven episodes, each one with its only story and "moral" of sorts. There are no bonus features on the DVD, just the seven episodes, but how often do we really watch any bonus pieces anyway?! Point made. This would make a wonderful Valentines Day gift for the little loved one in your life!
