As a blogger, taking photos is an important part of the job. For the most part, I don't need a tripod, but for videos or shots that cannot have any  movement, a tripod is super helpful. I've used a couple different tripods before so I'm quite familiar with how they work, how to use them, etc. This particular one is an "okay" model. By that I mean it does work. It does the job, it supports my camera, etc. However, it is not quite as good of a quality as I look for in a tripod. The one I currently use is a few dollars more with a more quality/sturdy feel to it.

Whereas this one has a very light weight/less-quality feel to it. Not that it's a bad tripod, but having quite a bit of experience with different ones, this isn't at the top of my list. Basically, this is best fit for small cameras, such as what you see in the photo, and phones. However, I have a Samsung S7 Edge and found that the phone attachment piece does not open big enough to support my phone. I mean it just barely  misses the mark.

As far as using it for my smaller camera goes - it worked great. It attached easily. Unlike other tripods that have a detachable piece to fit to the camera that would would then clip into place, this one you simply attach directly to the tripod. This is a good and a bad. Good because you don't loose the attachment piece (been there before!), but bad because it can be a slight bit more tricky to attach the camera. Of course, once you get the hang of it, it's really not a big deal. Just something I pay attention to.

As far as the extensions go, this tripod ranges from 14 to 41 inches in height. So you get a good bit of height variation to use when taking your photos. While the legs didn't extend as smoothly as I liked, they still extended and stayed locked in place. Also, there is a piece you can also adjust the angle of your camera on top of the height. Like I said, this isn't a bad tripod, it's just not my first choice being experienced with many tripods. It's easy to use, supports the weight of multiple cameras I tried and is at a decent price point. Would I recommend it? I think it would be fitting for a beginner photographer or someone just learning photography.
