It`s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!
No, Seriously though, it is! For those who don`t know, I live in Southern Louisiana so we don`t generally get much of a winter. In fact, I still have yet to turn the heat on our house. Today is the first day that temperatures actually dropped. We were in the upper 40s/lower 50s. We`ve had a few chilly nights, but the days have been warm. The weather has been fluctuating a lot this year for us so who know`s if it`ll stick around. I just wish it would stop with all the sudden changes. The frequent changes have made Vicks, Theraflu and Sudafed my new BFF`s! Well, just a few days ago, I got two new sweaters in for my husband and I to really get more into the Christmas spirit. What better than some ugly Christmas sweaters?!

So our new ugly sweaters came from two separate collections from Design By Humans. My sweater, the all I want for Christmas is your SOUL ugly christmas sweater, came from their general ugly christmas collection. Of course, I had to go with that one being the "Crazy Cat Lady" that I am with all my cats and volunteering at my local cat rescue, Spaymart. Can you guess what I`ll be wearing to our Christmas party this year?! Plus the shape of the cats image is similar to one of my black cats!
My husbands sweater, on the other hand, the Super Christmas Bros, came from their Retro Review All Over Christmas Collection. We both love Super Mario. In fact, it`s the only video game I used to play besides Kirby. I`m talking about on the old school games. After Super Nintendo I pretty much stopped playing video games, though. I thought I was still good until I hooked up the old machine a couple months ago only to find that I could hardly pass level one and kept yanking the machine down because of the short cord attached to the controller. Yikes! I guess I don`t have it anymore. Now my husband still plays video games, but on his xBox; so he has no excuse to not be able to play it. Enough rambling, my point is, the sweater was very fitting for him. As far as the quality goes; it`s of no surprise to me that these are nice. I work with Design By Humans pretty regularly and have yet to be disappointed with them.
Now these aren`t like some of the fancier, goofier sweaters I`ve seen with random things hanging off them (which I`m curious how long would last in my house full of cats!), and upon first looking at them they seem rather simple. However, these are much nicer than they appear! Why? They`re warm! They`re thin, not bulky, but warm. I hate weighed down and bulky clothing; at least here in the South where the weather changes at the drop of a dime. So this consistency is perfect. Also, the smooth front, not being knit or additional pieces hanging off, is beneficial because it doesn`t snag on anything and washes just the same as anything else - so no special wash needed! Basically, what I`m trying to get at - we like our sweaters a lot more than we first expected! They`re soft, comfortable, easy to wash, and they`re warm!! Not to mention the designs are awesome and well done. If you`re looking for an ugly sweater for your holiday party, DBH has a nice selection to choose from and I can promise, you won`t be disappointed!
