I am too excited about this latest review! I was recently invited to try out the Bestqool 7 Color LED Light Therapy Device from Amazon and I have to say, I am in love! 
 
What is light therapy? To put it very simply, light therapy is a process that is used by many people to treat a range of issues through specific and measured exposure to light. The LED photon beauty machine designed for facial & body beautification, uses natural light waves that are transmitted by LEDs into the skin.

With that being watched, the light therapy device does look intimidating, but it honestly isn't so bad when you get used to it. It's more about reading the instructions and figuring out how to properly use it. Otherwise, you just plug it in and enjoy! 
 
It is suggested to use the light therapy device for 20-30 minutes session per day and at least 5 times per week. I am just starting out so as of this post, I cannot tell you about actual results. However, I can tell you that it is easy to set up and easy to use. You can see how simple it is in my video. Normally, it is said to take about 1 month to see the improvements in your skin and health issues once you begin doing light therapy. 
 
The benefits to using this light therapy device are:
  • Increases collagen production
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Tightens skin
  • Improves pigmentation
  • Reduces skin grease
  • Smoothens skin
  • Reduces redness
 
You are able to use the light therapy device to get the above-mentioned benefits by switching the color. Each color serves a specific purpose. 
 
Red light- Increases blood flow and collagen production
Blue Light- Diminish inflammation, inhibition of sebaceous gland
Green Light- Improves pigmentation and fine lines
Yellow Light- Smoothens skin and reduces redness
Orange Light (red+yellow)- Increases blood flow and boosts metabolism
Purple Light (red+blue)- Relaxing, improves skin
 
When giving this thing a try, besides how effortless it is to actually use this device, I have to mention it doesn't hurt. I've been using it for a few days since first doing my first impression video. While I do not see any results yet, I can say it does not hurt to use. Literally, you are just laying under the light relaxing and letting it do all the work. I find I enjoy it most after I take my evening shower so I can get relaxed while the light therapy does its job.
 
What I like about this is there is no lasting risk to using light therapy. You may experience some side effects when you first start the process because your brain is adjusting to the treatment. These side effects can include headaches, nausea, eye strain, and irritability. They are generally pretty mild and will stop bothering you after a few days of light therapy treatment. However, I did not personally feel any of these effects. These are only things I discovered as a possibility when researching more into using my new device.
 
I also discovered light therapy has quite a few benefits. People who have used light therapy have claimed it helps with:
 
1. Weightloss.
The way in which light therapy helps you to lose weight may be surprising. The trick of light therapy for weight loss is that it will increase your metabolic rate. This means that when you combine a proper and healthy diet with light therapy, you will start to see the weight loss results you’ve been after. While you’re losing weight with your light therapy and diet combination, you’ll start to notice a reduction in your appetite, less stress, and increased energy.
 
2. Pain Relief.
From muscle aches and joint pain to headaches, light therapy is an excellent treatment for the various pains you may be experiencing. Light therapy is a really safe option for treating your pain because it is natural.
 
3. Hair Growth.
Light therapy is a more natural and efficient way to help grow or regrow your hair. The earlier you start using light therapy for hair growth, the better. Like any remedy for hair growth, light therapy takes a little bit of time. Within 2-3 months, you’ll begin noticing that your hair is growing. You don’t have to wait that long to see results, however. Fairly quickly after starting light therapy for hair growth, you will realize that you have stopped losing hair. For even better and faster results, you can add an antioxidant of some kind your hair care routine in combination with the light therapy.
 
4. Depression. 
Believe it or not, light therapy is actually a very viable option for treating depression, to a certain extent. One of the first popularized uses of light therapy was actually for a condition known as SAD, or seasonal affective disorder. This is a specific type of depression that takes hold during the winter months. Why might that be? Due to the lessened exposure to natural light. That’s why light therapy is the ideal solution for SAD. But light therapy works for most other types of depression, as well, which is positive news. If you choose to try light therapy to ease your depression, the most important thing for you to know is that you want to administer your light therapy treatments in the morning. This is the time of day during which light therapy use has shown the best results for treating depression.
 
5. Acne.
Contrary to what we all hope during adolescence, acne simply does not disappear once you become an adult. You will still want to use other skincare products for your acne, as well, but light therapy will provide a deeper treatment step that most skincare products do not offer. The way that light therapy works to treat your acne is that it penetrates your skin and helps to kill some of the acne bacteria that are hiding underneath. Light therapy also contributes to acne treatment by reducing the amount of sebum, or oil, that plagues your skin, and by working to reduce inflammation. Proper use of light therapy together with the right skincare products could produce much clearer skin for you!
 
6. Stretch Marks. 
Light therapy diminishes the appearance of stretch marks over time and the appearance of your stretch marks will diminish so much that you won’t even remember where they were! It just takes some time and persistence. With each light therapy treatment, the appearance of your stretch marks will be flattened and lightened. Generally, with around 20 sessions, spread over a period of a few weeks, you can see up to as much as a 60% improvement in the appearance of your stretch marks. If you use light therapy in combination with one of the standard creams or gels, imagine the results you will get in a rather timely manner! 
 
All and all, light therapy is an all-natural, safe, and proven treatment for a variety of issues and is something that you are not likely to regret trying! I am excited and hopeful to see my results.
