Let's talk about something nobody likes talking about... PERIODS. I know, it's the subject we all shy away from until there's a problem. Well, technically there is a problem. Trying to figure out the right product for you. There are a ton of products on the market when it comes to what you can use during your monthly cycle so it's hard to know which is right for you. If you're like me, you probably use a variety of product types. I use a mix of tampons and pads depending on how my cycle is going. Now, we don't need to get into that detail. What we do need to get into, though, is fact that not all pads are created equal. I'm sure you ladies already know that though.
Personally, my go-to brand has always been Always. I find they are high quality and their product works for my needs. However, there are so many things that factor into a good pad - size, absorbency, odor control, etc. I hate picking up a package and finding out the pad is too short for enough coverage or it's so big I feel like I'm wearing a diaper. I mean, there's a time, place, flow, body type, etc for the various pads. But who can keep up with what works with what and what you need at the time? That's why I love the fact that Always came out with their new Always My Fit system.
About Always My Fit
Always scientists have spent years researching the most common reasons for
I was sent the various packs of the Always My Fit System to check out and I have to say, I absolutely love this! Yes, at the end of the day I will end up using all the pads, but let's be honest, not every month is the same thing. There are times I can use all tampons through my cycle then there are other times I use them for a couple days and end up using pads. Depending on what's going on depends on what size pad I want and feel comfortable in. After giving birth, for example, I was more than happy to take those obnoxiously large pads that are made for those with bladder issues. I'm sure other moms can relate. However, for light spotting and lighter periods, I just want the small pad that isn't bulging out.
With this system, I am able to actually get a variety of sizes based on the number on the package. The smallest size pad has a number 1 on the pack and the largest size has a number 5. All of the pads are the same high quality, however, the size is different. So for those periods, you need something small, or even for a teen just hitting the puberty stage, you can go with the number 1. On a more serious cycle, you can get the number 5. For everything else in between, you have the other numbers to choose from. So you will not lose out on quality because of the size you get; you're simply getting something to fit your body type and your needs from the same great brand.
As I said, I love this system and certainly recommend all women and teens who still have a menstrual cycle to give it a try! Not sure what number to get? Try all 5 sizes! There's bound to be one to fit your needs.
