We’re always talking about deals, fun finds, and saving money, but what about really giving your pet the gift of life? I don’t mean like paying for their hospital and vet bills; although that makes you a great pet parent for doing so. I mean actually taking your pet out on an adventure. While this may not be ideal for cats, it may be an ideal suggestion to consider if you have a dog. Particularly if your dog is an active one.
I mean sure you could get creative and buy some plastic (like from this site here:
http://www.poundsofplastic.com) and make your own unique mold design for something cool. However, I was thinking more along the lines of maybe taking your favorite furry (or scaly) friend on a road trip and going sightseeing. Sure, it’d be a different experience than if you went with your friends, but can you imagine how excited, say your dog, would be?
You could head to
sbtravel.com and plan out a road trip where you can travel through Santa Barbara with your pup! Wouldn’t that be exciting?!
Why there? Well, have you seen the views?! Could you image walking around getting some fresh air with your dog? Maybe stop at a local park and play some fetch. If you shop ahead of time, you can find some great deals on some goodies for your trip to make it even more fun.
There’s a site called
Sleek EZ that offers the perfect grooming tools and it’s not just for dogs! They offer this for dogs, cats, and even horses! How does this play into your adventure? Well, I don’t know many animals that don’t enjoy being groomed in some way, shape, or form. Whether it is being brushed, combed, or simply enjoying the strokes from a good pet! So ideally, you could take a nice walk while you’re out on your adventure, then stop and relax at the park for maybe some lunch and relaxation. It’s almost like taking your pet on a date I guess!
The bottom line is, I honestly believe our pets are our family and should be treated as such. As an animal lover myself, I spoil my pets (cats and dog) as much as I possibly can.
What is your favorite way to spoil your pet?
