Get a FREE Phone Number to sign up for freebies closetsamples

As someone who shares and signs up for a lot of freebies on a daily basis, I know there are a lot of FREE samples that ask you for your phone number. If you're anything like me, you don’t want to put in your real phone number because you know it will end up in a bunch of spam calls. Talk about annoying!  Well, you can sign up for a completely free phone number that you can use when signing up for free samples!

Yes, people can actually call you and leave you a voice message or even a text. The best part? You don't have to answer! You will receive these via the email you use to sign up with. You can use your free phone number when you sign up for free samples or any other time you don’t want to give out your real number! I use mine all the time for signing up for stuff - including store reward cards!

These are my favorite ways to get a free phone number:

#1 Google Voice

Google Voice gives you a phone number for calling, text messaging, and voicemail. It works on smartphones and computers, and even syncs across your devices so you can use the app in the office, at home, or on the go. Best of all, it is free to sign up for a google voice account!

#2 TextNow

Get a real phone number and start calling & texting – for free! With TextNow, you can get unlimited calling & texting to U.S. and Canada. Just download the app and use TextNow on any device to get a free phone number and make calls and send texts anywhere in North America for FREE. Sign up to get a free phone number from TextNow.

#3 See if you qualify for a FREE government phone

This option is not available to everyone. This option is for low-income families who receive government assistance. I will try to publish here for any specific offers, but these offers usually do not last long.

Here are some common sites you can apply for a free phone, with free service, and a free number:
  1. Airtalk Wireless
  2. Assurance Wireless
  3. Qlink Wireless
  4. Safelink Wireless
  5. TruConnect

Please note, you may only have ONE government phone per household so pick the site you like best and only apply to one if you qualify.

BONUS: Low-Cost Phone Plans

If you're unable to qualify for a government phone, you may want to check out these low-cost phones and plans! Obviously, if you just need an online number to use, then this isn't something you really need to look at. But if you're wanting to add an extra phone to your household for business or whatever other reason, this may be a good option for you!
