(From September 2012) Sophia is 4 and in Pre-K right now. One thing we needed was a behavior chart. We notice how she does not like getting red faces at school. They use green face for good, yellow for having to be corrected a few times and red for not listening. I`m glad to see her behavior at school is much better, but I wanted to create something so she could visually see how her behavior is at home so we made a behavior chart spending only $4 at Dollar Tree! Everything else I had lying around the house already.  

I bought a cookie bake sheet along with 2 different style contact papers. The contact paper is sticky already and is removable. I cut out a piece of the contact paper as my background. Notice I used the bottom/back part of the bake sheet as my main board. Once I got the background on I tucked the sides under. You won`t be looking at the other side so don`t worry about how ugly it looks unless you want to fix it up. I then used some adhesive letters I had left over from my scrapbooking stash to mark the days of the week. Since it is a smaller sized board I just used singly letters rather than spelling it all out. From these I picked 3 different moods to represent her behavior again using left over scrapbooking stickers I had in my stash. I used "happy" with Flounder for when she did good. I used "Hug" and Sebastian the crab for when she made some mistakes or really cranky day. Then I used Donald Duck for when she has a bad day. I then cut small strips of the other style contact paper I had to make the lines on the board to separate the days and moods.  

When all was done I applied the magnets. To make the magnets a bit more fun I just stuck a few of the extra stickers on the magnets to make each one unique. When it was time for hanging I realized a tack was not going to support this so I took some ribbon and used packaging tape to hold it from the other side. When it was done I hung it on the wall nest to Sophia`s room! I`m sure she`ll be excited to see it when she comes home from school. Super simple and cheap!
